We offer dog walking services from Monday through Friday, between 8 am and 3 pm and finish our admin work by 5:30pm. 

Please note that we do not provide services on public holidays or during the period from the 20th of December to the 10th of January each year.

Of course, you can still book your dog for our off-leash dog walking services, provided that:

• They are not reactive.
• They don't pull hard on the lead.
• They are actively receiving consistent training to master their BASIC SKILLS, including commands such as Come, Sit, Stay and Give.
• They meet our onboarding criteria, which can be found on our ABOUT tab.

Ensuring that your dog meets these criteria helps us create a safe and enjoyable experience for all the dogs in our care during our off-leash walks.

Yes, we are a genuine, registered and fully insured business. You can rest assured that your pets are in good hands.

Yes, your pooch does not need to stay home alone all day, they can come out and be part of the fun from the comfort of  pet carriers, pouches,  doggy pram or buggy. Dogs are social beings and love being out there seeing other dogs and humans.

We get wet. Most pooches love the rain, if yours is not keen on it though, you can re-schedule your pups outing.

All walks are cancelled if it is raining too heavily, if there are thunderstorms, if it is too hot or too smokey. 

Our pricing structure is designed to reflect the costs associated with providing our services. Each trip we make from our clients' homes to parks incurs mileage on our vehicles, necessitating additional expenses for fuel, maintenance, servicing and tire replacement. Unfortunately, we do not receive discounts on these and other associated operational costs making impossible for us to lower our prices.

Our goal is to commence our sessions at 8 am and conclude by 3 pm. We make every effort to provide advance notice when we're on our way to pick up your furry companion. However, due to the unpredictable nature of working with pets and the traffic conditions in Sydney, it can be challenging to provide precise session timings. Therefore, we kindly request our clients to maintain flexibility with their pup's schedule, allowing us the necessary time to accommodate everyone.

We are dedicated to providing a holistic approach to our dog walks, ensuring that each dog has the opportunity to engage in various activities that cater to their individual needs. Our walks encompass activities like sniffing around, exploring, playing, observing the world, relieving themselves, walking, running and practicing basic skills. It's important to understand that different dogs have varying energy levels and preferences. Some may be enthusiastic runners, while others may take a bit longer to warm up and join in the fun, some dogs will happily engage in all activities and games while others prefer to observe.

In summary, the necessity of walking your dog depends on various factors, including your pet's unique needs. Dogs are individuals and their exercise requirements can differ significantly based on factors such as their breed, age and overall health. Regular exercise is generally beneficial for dogs, as it contributes to both their physical and mental well-being. To ensure your dog's specific needs are met, it's advisable to assess them carefully, consult with a veterinarian if necessary and establish a personalized exercise routine that aligns with your furry companion's requirements. Remember that a balanced approach to exercise and mental stimulation is key to fostering a happy and healthy life for your dog.

Our standard walking sessions typically last for 1 hour, as we prioritize the safety and comfort of both your pet and our team. However, in cases of inclement weather, such as heavy rain, extreme heat, or smoky conditions, we may adapt our sessions to a duration of 45 minutes. It's important to note that we will never charge you for any cancellations made due to factors that could compromise our collective safety, such as hazardous weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. Additionally, please allow us a window of between 5 to 20 minutes for travel time to and from the parks, so your dog could be out for about an hour and half to two hours in total.

In our care, your cherished pet is considered a beloved family member, and we prioritize their well-being with the utmost care. We firmly believe that open, ongoing communication is the cornerstone of delivering the highest level of care for your furry companion, ensuring that we consistently meet and exceed your expectations.

We warmly invite you to actively participate in your pet's experience with us. When appropriate, join us on walks, engage in meaningful conversations and share your thoughts and concerns; your input is genuinely valued.

For non-urgent matters, we kindly request that you contact us via SMS. However, please rest assured that we are just a phone call away when more immediate attention is required.

To keep you well-informed, we utilize technology, such as SIRI, to send you notifications when we're en route to collect your pet. Additionally, we make an effort to brighten your day by sharing photos at convenient times and occasionally, we'll send heartwarming video messages via WhatsApp.

Our commitment is to ensure you're both informed and reassured. We make it a priority to provide daily updates on your pet's activities, which you can expect through our social media updates or SMS messages. In the spirit of transparency, we promise to promptly notify you of any issues or concerns that may arise during our time with your pet.

Please note that, to allow our team to rest and recharge, our phones automatically switch to "Do Not Disturb" mode from 9 PM to 7:30 AM daily. During these hours, we will not receive notifications, ensuring we're well-prepared for the day ahead.

At WoofTastic Care, we understand that circumstances can change, and you may need to cancel a scheduled service. To ensure a smooth and transparent process, we have established the following cancellation policy:

1. Advance Notice: We kindly request that you provide us with as much notice as possible if you need to cancel a scheduled service. This allows us to make necessary adjustments to our schedule.

2. Cancellation Fees: For cancellations made at least 12 hours in advance of the scheduled service, there will be no cancellation fees incurred. We appreciate your consideration in providing ample notice.

3. Short Notice Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 12 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. The specific fee will be outlined in your service agreement, and it helps offset the costs associated with last-minute changes to our schedule. Please note that if your dog isn’t at home or we can’t access them, or you cancel their outing after 8am on the day of their scheduled outing, you will be charged a full fee.

4. Emergency Situations: We understand that emergencies can arise. If you encounter an unforeseen situation that requires you to cancel a scheduled service on short notice, please reach out to us as soon as possible. We will work with you to find a suitable solution that prioritises the well-being of your pet. Emergency situations include sudden illness, family emergencies, or other unexpected crises. Please contact us to discuss any emergencies and understand our approach to addressing them.

5. Repeat Short Notice Cancellations: To maintain the quality and reliability of our services, repeated short notice cancellations may result in service restrictions or additional fees. We aim to provide consistent and dependable care for your pet and appreciate your understanding in this regard.

6. Contact Us: To cancel a scheduled service, please contact us via SMS as soon as you are aware of the need to cancel. We will confirm the cancellation and discuss any applicable fees or rescheduling options.

7. Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule a service, please contact us with your preferred alternative date. We will do our best to accommodate your request, taking into consideration our availability.
